MARY'S HOUSE

Mary’s House works with girls who are 12 to 18 years old and have:

 

  • 504 or Response to Intervention (RTI) plans

  • been in-school (ISS) or out-of-school (OSS) suspended three or more times within a semester

  • attended an alternative school or been expelled due to documented behavioral issues

  • backgrounds with family instability, traumatic experiences, teenage pregnancy, foster care, substance use, homeless shelters, mental health issues, school dropout, or juvenile detention.

MARY'S HAVEN

Mary’s Haven works with women who are 19 to 25 years old and have backgrounds of:

 

  • detention or incarceration

 

  •  halfway houses

 

  • domestic violence

 

  • homeless shelters

 

  • substance use

 

  • traumatic experiences

 

  • mental health issues

MARY'S PROMISE

Mary’s Promise provides former girls and women clients with long-term access and resources for:

 

  •  General Education Development (GED) attainment

 

  • career or college planning

 

  • counselors and supports

 

  • financial wellness services

 

  • HIV and AIDS testing

 

  • self-help workshops

 

Our goal is for former clients to mentor current participants, creating a lifelong partnership and promise (between the foundation and them) to continue to uplift socioeconomically disadvantaged and at-risk girls or women.

PROGRAMS / SERVICES

The foundation has three programs, each aimed at helping our targets reenter society with the college and career readiness or life skills to be successful.

Alabama Communities Served:

Bullock County, Lee County, Macon County, Montgomery County
